“JT” Jim Tatem has more than 30 years experience having helped over 3,000 individuals run, grow, and sell their business. JT began his franchising career in 1986 with Ray Titus, CEO of United Franchise Group, learning firsthand what it means to be an entrepreneur. Having been instrumental in the growth of UFG and its brands over the course of 30 years, in 2016 JT decided to become a business broker himself leading Transworld Business Advisors of Asheville, NC & Greenville, Spartanburg & Anderson, SC.
In 2024 he returned to UFG, appointed as President of Transworld to lead the brand through its next phase of growth. JT is a family driven husband of almost 45 years, raising and loving 4 children and 6 grandchildren and is an active member of his local church and community, with a strong belief in putting faith before fortune.
