OUR HISTORY
Established in 1979
Transworld Business Advisors, a leading business brokerage franchise, was originally founded in South Florida by Don, a 30-year IBM executive, and his wife, Bonnie Parrish. Andy Cagnetta, CEO & owner of Transworld Florida, initially came to Transworld as a buyer, aiming to fulfill his entrepreneurial ambitions. From his initial meeting, Andy recognized that Transworld was unique and exceptional. After a few years of working under Don, Andy purchased Transworld and expanded it into the largest business brokerage in Florida.
TRANSWORLD FRANCHISING
Although thriving, Andy envisaged further expansion. It was not long before Ray Titus, CEO of United Franchise Group, and Cagnetta collaborated to introduce Transworld Business Advisors as a franchise opportunity, leveraging their combined expertise in franchise development and business brokerage.
Starpoint Brands
Ray leads the United Franchise Group, a conglomerate housing numerous award-winning brands. Among these is the Starpoint Brands division, which includes leading franchises such as Signarama, Fully Promoted, and Venture X, along with Transworld.
Thanks to the synergy between Ray’s franchise expertise and Andy’s experience in the business brokerage industry, they have propelled Transworld to its current status as the World’s Leading Business Brokerage Franchise, with over 400 offices globally.
